I’m a programmer/manager by day, musician by night, and I tend to ramble on so I think this site is where I’ll do that.
Here you see me and my wife, Whitney, who is now hoping this site means she won’t have to listen to me talk about everything so much. We’ll see about that.
I’ve pretty much been making a living working with internet software since 1997, besides the dot-com crash way back in 2001. I worked at Best Buy back then and freelanced as much as I could.
I’ve played guitar since I was around 12 years old, and have been in Jazz, Rock, Funk, and Metal bands in that time. I’m 36 right now and not currently in any band but I do record in my little home studio at least once a week.
Another project I am working on with some really amazing and talented people – guitar-muse.com. We write about guitars, gear, guitarists, and generally have a good time and it’s a fantastic way to stay updated on my favorite topic.
I guess I’m the not-so-geeky geek. Don’t ask my wife for verification, she doesn’t know. I mean she has no idea how geeky people can get. I’d like to shield her from that. Really, Whitney, I am Johnny Depp.
In all seriousness, she thinks I’m pretty geeky. And I am. But it gets much worse out there in the real world.
